FIRST THINGS FIRST
God loves us deeply and has a plan for each of our lives. He longs for us to know Him and wants to know us intimately.
We are called to a life of worship, hosting and releasing God’s presence. Worship is not just the songs we sing; everything we do is an act of worship.
It is a key element of our Sunday services and the life of our church. Our desire is to disciple and equip every believer in a lifestyle of worship, to give Him pleasure, connect with Him and see the presence and power of God in our everyday life.
There is a prophetic power in worship to create atmospheres that have an incredible, lingering and lasting spiritual impact on the environment and others around us.
As we worship together, we are releasing God’s presence into our lives, communities and all society. What we are conscious of, we will release in the atmosphere.
True worship brings heaven down to earth and causes a ‘displacement’ of spiritual forces in that place. This is the most powerful form of spiritual warfare – bringing the atmosphere, authority and glory of heaven in such a way that darkness has to flee.
Worship is a continuous adventure as we explore the unlimited treasures of God’s presence and heaven’s perspective.
Our personal relationship with God is our number one priority. Our desire is to create a culture that attracts and hosts the presence of God. Culture is what we agree is valuable. As we act and live those values, it becomes culture. Kindgom culture adds momentum. It changes the way we think and interact with God and others.
Culture of Valuing God’s presence
A culture of an awareness of God in me, upon me and with me invites greater manifestations of His presence and power. I always, everyday set Him before me and adjust my heart until I realize He is here.
I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Culture of Thanksgiving
A culture of keeping our eyes on what God is doing and living from a place of thankfulness.
1 Thes 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.
Culture of Dreaming
“A dream is a picture of the future I want to live in someday. Dreams are seeds of possibility planted in your soul, calling you to pursue a unique path to the realization of your purpose.” Andy Mason
Culture of the Supernatural
A supernatural culture empowers people to know God and walk in the fullness of who He says they are.
Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Culture of Risk
A culture of risk builds an expectation that anything can happen.
Culture of Freedom
A culture where we are willing to let people see who we really are and let people be who God has made them to be. Authenticity brings freedom. “The whole purpose for freedom is love.” CS Lewis.
When we use our freedom to love, our freedom and the freedom of those around us is protected and cultivated.
2 Cor 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Culture of Grace
A culture of grace is the atmosphere created by love. As God’s grace has been freely given to me, I will freely extend this grace towards others. We are uniquely and wonderfully made by God, for His pleasure, and we create an environment where every person is empowered to know God and build His Kingdom here on earth through their gifts, skills and calling.
Culture of Honour
A culture of honour create life giving and life promoting relationships and it is created as we learn to discern and receive people in their God given identities. It creates life and is contagious, as people love to be encouraged and inspired into their God given destinies.
